When we are preparing for a brand session, one of the main things we help clients with is where to photograph. A few things to consider are the space matching your brand aesthetic, the price of renting the venue and vicinity to your business. So we decided to put together a list of Bowling Green branding locations. Some are right in Bowling Green and some are in surrounding locations. This is not an exhaustive list but these are many of our recommendations.
Bowling Green Location: One Roof BG
First up, we have One Roof BG. This space is very diverse. The main part of this event space, which can also be rented for weddings and other events, is exposed brick. It also has a bar area with a darker, moodier feel to it.
It also has a white room, which doubles as a bridal suite, in which we have taken some photos we absolutely love. You can follow them on Instagram here.
Bowling Green Location: East Main BG
A second location we have used frequently is East Main BG. This has two sides to it. The first side is called Gather. It is for meetings, photo sessions, workshops or small events. It has massive windows and is beautifully decorated. Here is what the Gather side looks like and a few photos we have taken here:
The other side of East Main BG (you can follow them on Instagram here) is called Stay. It can be rented as an AirBnB or as a studio for your branding session. The front porch and the kitchen are my two favorite things about this place but the whole apartment is gorgeous! Here is a photo of the inside followed by a few photos we have taken here:
Bowling Green Location: Park Street BG
Another one of the Bowling Green branding locations that we recommend is Park Street BG. This is a very historic building with four apartments in it. The two apartments on the bottom floor are the ones that can be rented out for branding sessions. All four can be rented as AirBnBs (You can follow along on Instagram here.) Following are photos of the interior of each of the two apartments you can rent for brand sessions.
Apartment 1
This apartment has an amazing kitchen for product photography and perfect tall ceilings for an old-fashioned feel. The living room is ideal if you like a lot of color.
Apartment 2
This apartment is more subdued if classic and subtle is your feel.
Bowling Green Location: Morgan Harris Photos’ Studio
One thing about photographers’ studios is they are specifically designed with photos in mind. This is very true of Morgan Harris’ studio. It has several different options to fit a variety of different brands. The bedroom and dining room is on the brighter side and the living room is on the darker side. There is also a backdrop if you want a solid background. You can follow Morgan on Instagram here.
Bowling Green Location: The BG Studio
Another studio owned by a photographer (Kate Phelps) in Bowling Green is The BG Studio (follow it here on Instagram). This place has a ton of natural light, a very unique bathroom, a modern kitchen, a full length solid background and several other backgrounds that change with the season.
Bowling Green Location: Highland House
Another place we recommend for Bowling Green branding locations is the Highland House. This is a home on the property near Highland Stables, and event venue. You can rent this through AirBnB or by the hour for branding sessions. The upstairs has a lot of natural light, but the downstairs is on the darker side. This very uniquely decorated home has several notable areas for photographs.
Scottsville Location: S’mores Paradise Kentucky Cabin
A beautiful location a little southeast of Bowling Green that we recommend for brand sessions is S’mores Paradise Kentucky Cabin. It has plenty of natural light in the main part of the home, a spacious front deck, an adorable loft and an outdoor firepit. If your brand is more adventurous or you want a cozy place for your session, we definitely recommend this! You can follow them on Instagram here.
Nolin Lake: Dock Holiday
Last but certainly not least on our list is Dock Holiday, about an hour north of Bowling Green on Nolin Lake. This place is ABSOLUTELY stunning! There is so much natural light on the main and second floor and it’s beautifully decorated! I can definitely see Kevin and I getting our own brand photos taken here! It is worth the drive for sure! That is all the places we have listed for now! Now, we do have to say that if you have your own place of business…let’s say you’re an aesthetician or a gym owner or a restauranteur….we will most likely be using your office/gym/restaurant as the location of the brand session. If you’re an outdoorsy brand, we may be photographing everything in the great outdoors. We also have the option of coffee houses, downtown outdoor locations and so many more options. But we wanted to create a list of places you could rent locally and give you a little peek inside. We hope you enjoyed!
