Baby Portraits for These Two Chiropractors

It has been so long since I have photographed a newborn. No better way to start again than with this tiny bundle of joy. I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. From the way she looked at her parents to the cute little angry faces she made when she was hungry. What a privilege to be able to take her first professional photos. A great re-introduction to baby portraits.

The first thing I noticed was how absolutely in love her parents are with her. The sign on the wall of the nursery is not just a sign in this house. It is life. “All of me loves all of you.” So much to love about this precious little one.

Every parent realizes when they have their first child that life will never be the same. All of the things that we thought were so important are now just things we get around to if we get time. Because there is nothing more important than this new life.

She is just a natural! Who poses this well at one month old?! Baby Evie, that’s who! Such a sweet face! And she looks right at the camera! She is not just a mother’s dream come true, she is also a photographer’s dream.

Tiny little perfect hands. So delicate in daddy’s strong hands. The hands that have promised to protect her, to keep her safe. But during this session I could see she already has him wrapped around her little finger. Daddy and mommy are both chiropractors at Active Health Chiropractic in Glasgow. So needless to say, she’s in good hands.

Just look at those pink little piggies! They have already made footprints all over mommy’s heart. A baby will make love stronger, nights longer, home happier, the past forgotten and the future worth living for.

This reminds me of the song… You’re just too good to be true. Can’t take my eyes off of you. You feel like heaven to touch. I want to hold you so much. At long last, love has arrived. I thank God I’m alive. You’re just too good to be true. Can’t take my eyes off of you. I love you baby…

Until next time, baby Evie. It was a pleasure to meet you. Thank you for making my first baby portraits in years easy on me!
