it was refreshing when Britney said she started her own nurse practitioner clinic because she wanted to listen to her patients as individuals. She gets to know them and what they need. And she especially tries to help the busy mom. As a working mom herself, she knows how hectic life can get.

If she can help as many people as possible prevent health problems in the first place, her mission will be accomplished. You can tell she has such a huge heart for humans and animals alike.

When she walked out of the house in that floor length blush dress with her hair and makeup professionally done by a close friend, I could’ve sworn this was a styled shoot and she was a model that had been hired. I am not just being nice when I say I was blown away!

It was definitely our pleasure to photograph this beautiful woman and the brand that she represents. We hope she can help so many more in their journey to fuel their soul–mind, body and spirit! Enjoy a glimpse of this fantastic Kentucky small business brand session!

They mentioned this golf course in Bowling Green, KY, at least a certain hole, reminded them of Scotland. So it was perfect to see them in plaid for their winter portraits! Watching them walk, the outfits were so well coordinated, I felt like they should be in a catalog. And they had the smiles to match 🙂

And the best part was when the judge pronounced them officially family. There were kisses and hugs. There was clapping. And there were lots of smiles! The entire courtroom exploded in applause. It was a moment I will not soon forget. So happy for this amazing family on their adoption day!

Then it was time with the maternal grandparents. Sometimes, the cutest photos are ones we pose to look like they just happened. But in this case, no posing necessary. She is so loved by her grandparents that it just flows freely. The forehead kisses, the temple grazes, and the big hugs. They absolutely adore her.

He’s growing up so fast! Able to balance himself in a little chair. Standing on his own. And do you see those four front teeth? How cute is he?! With his little head tilt like he was meant to take photos for a living.

Even when children are all grown up, even if they have children of their own, they are still our children. Ones we taught, loved, and watched grow into the people they are today. Our parents are always the ones we turn to for comfort and for knowledge. Being able to call them or visit them is such a blessing. And having our children get to know their grandparents makes it even better.

Can’t you just imagine walking out the side door of the barn, down the porch, and seeing your loved one standing there waiting for you? When they realize their life is about to change for the better and tears come to theirs eyes…
