Last week was one of the coldest weeks the nation has seen in awhile. But with the cold also came a beautiful blanket of snow. This was a perfect backdrop for a winter engagement session! We first met the future groom when his parents adopted his two youngest siblings. It was such a sweet day! We are making an exception to our “no weddings” to get to serve this amazing family again.
This couple found each other when she moved here from the other side of the country a little over a year ago. It’s incredible how things just work out! How someone you couldn’t picture your life without wasn’t even in your life a year ago. One move or one change could alter the course of your life.
We were going to start out with just the two of them, but it was so chilly we decided to use their cream blanket right away. I mean, what’s a winter engagement session without a blanket, right? It makes everything so cozy.
Once we warmed up a little bit, we got rid of the blanket…even if just for a moment. It may have been cold outside, but these two had plenty of heat to go around! Their smiles could light up any room. If they looked this good on their engagement session, I can’t wait to see them on their wedding day!
After these photos, we decided this winter engagement session needed another blanket. This time we used one that could wrap all the way around the two of them.
They told me she loves his smile and he loves her laugh. You could see that every time they looked at each other. She giggled every time. I just love seeing couples who are truly in love!
These two both share a love of music…they can’t imagine life without it! Another thing they share is a very close bond with their families. Getting to see how each other is with their family members has really drawn them to each other.
Now for just a few more photos to wrap up this winter engagement session. We finished up with more without the blanket. Just these two beautiful humans enjoying their time with each other.
We can’t wait to see you on your wedding day! Thank you so much for the privilege of photographing you!
Love, Kevin and Renee
