One thing I know, I’m glad I don’t have to be the one to choose what hangs on her wall. Alyssa definitely nailed her session. I’ve had the privilege of watching her photography business blossom over the last year. Many photographers would rather be behind the camera instead of in front of it. But she is comfortable on either side, and the camera loves her for sure!

He asked her out and gave her a fist bump when she said yes. Thus was the start of an amazing relationship. Now they are engaged and soon they will be man and wife. When they say “kiss the bride” will he give her a fist bump? Time will tell. But one thing’s for sure, these two are perfect for each other.

It may have been a chilly day, but these two brought the warmth…and a blanket. This couple found each other when she moved here from the other side of the country a year ago.

They wanted fall foliage in their family portraits. Barren River Lake was the perfect spot. We knew we would get amazing family photos. What we didn’t know was how much fun we would have in the process!

You know what I love about family photos? I get to see how amazing each member of the family is as an individual. They each get to have their moment to shine and be seen. Then we can see that an amazing family is made up of amazing individuals.

They have wanted a baby for years and now the little miracle is on her way! Maternity portraits on the family farm that means so much to the two of them.

It was now time to scoop him back up in her arms. Like I said, they couldn’t stay apart for long. He was being such a good little boy. He just wanted the security that came with being right close to his mama’s heart.

Now it was time for Ruthie to get her mommy and me photos! So many sweet moments! She smiled up at her mommy and then fell asleep in her arms. It’s so important to remember these beautiful moments because they go so quickly. It seemed like just yesterday Anna Grace was this tiny. If I had one superpower, I would want to make time go a little more slowly in moments like this!
