I’m so glad they opted for backyard portraits. This is the place they feel at home. Here is where they know they’re loved and they can just be themselves. family acts like a team. Sure, there are good days and bad days, just like any family, but they know they always have each other. They are on this journey together.

They have wanted a baby for years and now the little miracle is on her way! Maternity portraits on the family farm that means so much to the two of them.

An ornate flower headband and layers of dusty rose tulle practically begged to be photographed. We used her great-grandmother’s chair. Her mother had a very special attachment to her own grandmother, so it was dreamy that it could all be tied in together. And it matched perfectly!

Then it was time with the maternal grandparents. Sometimes, the cutest photos are ones we pose to look like they just happened. But in this case, no posing necessary. She is so loved by her grandparents that it just flows freely. The forehead kisses, the temple grazes, and the big hugs. They absolutely adore her.

He’s growing up so fast! Able to balance himself in a little chair. Standing on his own. And do you see those four front teeth? How cute is he?! With his little head tilt like he was meant to take photos for a living.
