Welcome to our Blog!

So this is the family that this sweet baby boy is going to get to be a part of. He is already so loved. Not just by mom and dad. Or big sister. He has a whole community who can’t wait to meet him and love on him. But his sister may be the most eager. Any time we asked if she could go hug her baby brother, she was right at her momma’s belly, pressing her cheek into this beautiful bump that her brother is being carried in. Perfection when it comes to maternity portraits!

To be married to your best friend, that is an amazing gift. Knowing you have someone who absolutely adores you. To have someone to hold on to in good times and bad. And to have someone that makes you laugh. These two have all of that and more.

He’s a country boy. He loves his tractors and all the other farm toys. And he has the sneakiest little grin. His baby portraits will capture your heart.

At this point in our story, it’s only been eight months since the first blog post. Since I first met him again as an adult. A LOT can happen in eight months! If you were to tell me at this point the year before that I would be getting married on October 10, 2009, I would have told you that you were crazy! And if you would have said it would be to Kevin Back (my childhood friend’s little brother), I would have thought you were off your rocker. But here I was, marrying the love of my life!

I already loved Constance. Now she had found someone who made her even better. Someone who would complete their family. And someone her son already loved.

Family is everything. That’s not just a cute saying. This family proved it. You could see during all the in-between moments

Life isn’t made up of a few big things. It’s made up of a lot of little things. Those little things all add up to an amazing life if you spend it with the right person.
