Our Story

At this point in our story, it’s only been eight months since the first blog post. Since I first met him again as an adult. A LOT can happen in eight months! If you were to tell me at this point the year before that I would be getting married on October 10, 2009, I would have told you that you were crazy! And if you would have said it would be to Kevin Back (my childhood friend’s little brother), I would have thought you were off your rocker. But here I was, marrying the love of my life!

Life isn’t made up of a few big things. It’s made up of a lot of little things. Those little things all add up to an amazing life if you spend it with the right person.

We had given each other cards every month for our anniversary. Here we were on our three month anniversary. I was dying to get my card. Finally, I found out where it was. And then I literally fell for him.

That week seemed like another whirlwind. Meeting my cousins. Going to Letchworth. Trying on dresses. Even getting portraits made.

I had always been a sucker for a good romantic comedy, and now I was living one. The continuation of our two month anniversary weekend.

I had planned surprises for Kevin for our two month anniversary. But my big mouth ruined all of them.

We knew each other as kids. We pretended to get married even. Then we met up again as adults and the love story began.
